Legal Hotline: Do you need to talk to a C.A.R. Hotline Attorney? The C.A.R. Member Legal Hotline is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and *Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. by calling (213) 739-8282. Answers to many of your legal questions can be found in the "Legal Q&As" page under the Transaction Center/Risk Management Section of the website. You may also email your inquiries to the Hotline; include your full name, C.A.R. member number, and phone number. (You must be a C.A.R. member to use this service.)

Ombudsman Hotline: Occasionally, members of the public find themselves embroiled in a dispute with their REALTOR®. Sometimes the dispute is, even, between two REALTORS®. This Hotline is available to members of the public and to REALTORS®. C.A.R. Ombudsmen receive and respond to questions and complaints about members; can contact members to inform them that a client or another REALTOR® has raised a question or issue; and can provide an informed response to the person complaining. Request a call-back from an Ombudsman Administrator now. Finance Helpline: Have difficulties finalizing short sales, REOs, Deeds in Lieu, funding, or face any number of hurdles in closing a deal for a client, create a Finance Helpline Inquiry for one-on-one assistance to help resolve financing issues within a transaction.
