The Annual C.A.R. Education Foundation Raffle is Here!

Support the C.A.R. Education Foundation for a chance to win your dream vacation! Raffle tickets are $20/ticket or 6 for $100. The raffle drawing will take place on Saturday, October 13, 2018 -- winner does not need to be present to win. The prize is a $4,000 travel voucher to plan a vacation to a destination of your choice.

Are you a California REALTOR® furthering your education through a C.A.R. or NAR-approved designation? You may eligible to apply for a C.A.R. Education Foundation grant!



The next Application Deadline is Wednesday, August 1, 2018. To apply, download the C.A.R. Education Foundation Application and mail the completed application along with the supplemental materials by the deadline. The C.A.R. Education Foundation awards grants once a year in the Fall.

Eligibility Requirements

This grant program is for California REALTORS® who have completed a C.A.R. or NAR-approved designation course.

  • Application must be submitted AFTER coursework has been completed and within 12 months of completion.
  • Applicant must be a legal resident of the State of California at least one year prior to the date of application and have a valid California Driver's License or State ID card. A copy of your license or ID must be submitted with this application.
  • Two letters of recommendation must be submitted with the application, including a letter of good standing from your local Board/Association of REALTORS® and the other from a colleague.
  • A typed essay of at least 300 words expressing the importance of the designation to your real estate career for REALTORS®.
  • A copy of the certificate documenting completion must be submitted with this application.
  • A  copy of the receipts documenting the cost of your completed designation.

Make a Difference and Contribute

The C.A.R. Education Foundation is a 509(a)(3) public charity and may receive tax-deductible donations. Your charitable, tax-deductible donation to the C.A.R. Education Foundation will help fund our important mission. The foundation accepts charitable contributions from REALTORS ®, local associations, as well as other individuals and organizations. Learn how you and/or your local association can contribute to the Foundation.

About the Foundation

The C.A.R. Education Foundation was established in 2005 with the purpose of providing real estate and education related grants to California California REALTORS®. The C.A.R. Education Foundation is led by an appointed group of 13 Directors who are members of the California Association of REALTORS®. Funds for the C.A.R. Education Foundation come from charitable donations and bequests. The C.A.R. Education Foundation works in conjunction with the existing C.A.R. Scholarship Foundation which was established in 1948. Representatives from the C.A.R. Education Foundation are available for presentations at REALTOR® associations, clubs or public events.
