Title: Payroll Specialist
Group: Financial Management
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

The CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® is looking for a Payroll Specialist with experience in payroll, attendance recordkeeping, and general ledger. This individual is responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll and attendance recordkeeping maintenance using ADP Workforce Now system. In addition, the ideal candidate will be preparing general ledger entries, analyze various GL accounts for month-end closing, bank reconciliation for various accounts, and government filings.

Responsibilities:
• Process semi-monthly payroll for 150 employees
• Process garnishments and tax levies
• Perform FMLA calculations
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile payroll
• Reconcile employer/employee 401(k) contributions and transmit semi- monthly to 401(k) provider
• Annual Worker’s Comp Audit
• Annual Pension Audit

Requirements:
• 5 years of ADP payroll processing experience
• Experience in using Microsoft Office.
• Prefer 2 years of General Ledger experience
• Prefer Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
• Prefer exposure to Microsoft Dynamics GP and QuickBooks
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent work ethic and attendance
