What's in it for you?

Plenty, but we don't expect you to believe us until you take a good look at what the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and the REALTOR® family can offer you. Obtaining your real estate license took time, intelligence, commitment and was your first step on your journey toward a successful career in real estate. Doesn't it make sense for you to continue building on what you have worked so hard to achieve?

All three levels of the REALTOR® organization--local, state and national--are here to help you succeed as a real estate professional. Just as you serve your clients, the REALTOR® organization exists to support its members. Nowhere else can you join a premier trade association that truly represents the interests of the real estate professional. Did you know the term REALTOR® is a registered mark of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and can only be used by members of the REALTOR® organization?

" C.A.R. Member Benefits" is a helpful guide to the programs, products and services the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® has to offer its members.  Join now and become involved in shaping your future and the future of the REALTOR® organization.

As part of your C.A.R. membership you receive free access to zipForm®, our electronic transaction software library.  Non-members may purchase an annual license for $799 or $999. You must be either a real estate licensee or an attorney to purchase zipForm®.

HOW DO YOU BECOME A REALTOR® MEMBER? Follow these easy steps and you're on your journey to success!

STEP 1: You will want to continue your career by affiliating yourself with a REALTOR® broker. One prerequisite to becoming a member of organized real estate is that your broker must first be a REALTOR® member. Keep this in mind when you're considering a real estate office for employment. Should you already work for a real estate firm that is not associated with the REALTOR® organization, have your broker contact one of the local Association of REALTORS® listed for membership information.

STEP 2: Now that you are affiliated with a REALTOR® broker, you can contact the local Association of REALTORS® of which your broker is a member. Remember that brokers can be members of more than one local Association. Upon joining the local Association of REALTORS®, you also become a member of the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.

Contact your local REALTOR® Association today and begin a life long journey of professional growth and success. We look forward to having you as a REALTOR® member!
