The CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Help Desk Coordinator to join our Information Technology team! The ideal candidate will have good technical knowledge and will take pride in providing support and training to C.A.R. staff with an attitude of outstanding customer service with every interaction. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is capable of multitasking and understands priorities to maximize performance. You will be a key member of the Information Technology team, and your ability to learn and contribute are only limited by your initiative and motivation!

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to Association staff; administer the Help Desk and internal help desk ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot a variety of desktop applications
  • Set up and support an array of mobile devices
  • Configure new and replacement desktop equipment.
  • Provides administrative support for the IT Department and CTO (reconcile invoices and payables, maintain financial records, help prepare budgets and forecasts, draft PowerPoint presentations, create and maintain license renewal calendar, request competitive bids, word processing, preparing correspondence, maintaining paper and electronic files, etc.)
  • Create accounts and configure hardware and software as part of on-boarding process. Maintain full-cycle account management for all employees.
  • Maintaining inventory of equipment, software, and licenses.

Requirements
1-2+ years general office experience
At least one-year experience working in a help desk environment or equivalent technical experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Science or relevant field.

Skills Required:
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills
A passion for helping people that is equal to your passion for technology.
Inherent curiosity and drive to learn and be creative.
Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding customer service.
Ability to work effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner.
Excellent work ethic and attendance
