Blake Andrews
Blake AndrewsBefore Blake Andrews became the Founder of Giveback Homes he embarked on a mission trip that became a life mission. Born and raised in Corpus Christie, TX, Blake is defined by his courageous entrepreneurship, vision for “doing good by doing good” by turning the real estate community, homebuyers and home sellers into humanitarians and home givers.

Blake’s watershed moment docked when he reached out to his good friend — the founder and chief shoe giver of TOMS, Blake Mycoskie. In 2010, he relocated to Santa Monica, CA to work as the Special Projects Manager for TOMS to learn about social entrepreneurship and the one-for-one business model. 

On a formative trip to El Salvador and Nicaragua to give shoes to children in need, Blake fell in love with the people of Nicaragua, and decided to dedicate his life to giving back, internationally and domestically. He knew that if a shoe could improve a child’s well being then a home could change a child’s life. This light bulb moment lead to the idea of connecting real estate agents with families in need of safe homes. Not long after this spark, Blake launched Giveback Homes in August 2013. The first social good company that builds homes for families in need, fueled by the passion of real estate professionals.

In 1998, Blake graduated from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX, where he majored in Communications. Blake married his wife Tricia Andrews in 2012. Tricia currently serves as Partner of Giveback Homes.

Robert Bailey
Robert BaileyRobert is co-founder of Bailey Properties and Bailey Properties, Inc.  Established in 1974, Bailey Properties has grown to five locations and the position of market leader in both residential sales and property management in Santa Cruz County.  The property management company specializes in long term rentals, corporate (interim) rentals and vacation rentals.

A respected Realtor, leader and spokesperson within the real estate industry, Robert has held several positions at the local, state, and national level.  Robert served as President of the 185,000 member California Association of Realtors in 2002 and is currently a member of their executive committee.  Robert, at the request of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) is the  2015 Liaison to their Second Home and Resort Committee.  Robert was recently honored by NAR with the designation, Realtor Emeritus.

His commitment to and involvement in the real estate industry is matched only by his love of family and community.  When Robert and Paul Bailey launched  Bailey Properties they made the conscious decision to build their company in Santa Cruz County where they were raised and where they have now raised their families.  Robert is an Aptos High School alumnus and graduate of San Jose State.  He and his wife, Lillie Salatich Bailey, are 30 residents of La Selva Beach.

Jeff Barnett
Jeff BarnettJeff Barnett's professional real estate career began in the late 1980s at Fox & Carskadon and thereafter joined Alain Pinel Realtors Realtors in 1991 as one of its original sales agents. His astute knowledge of the business, marketing savvy and energy quickly earned him a top spot in the emerging company. While honing his skills as a trouble-shooter and deal maker in the heart of the Silicon Valley, Jeff created the Alain Pinel's Masters program for working agents and people new to the business of residential real estate. He taught the course work for two years, which led to Jeff's transition from a highly successful sales agent to Vice President/Manager of the Los Gatos office in 1995. The first Los Gatos office grew steadily until a second office was added in 2000 to accommodate the branch´s expansion.

As Vice President and Regional Manager, Jeff utilizes his 23 years of experience to oversee and streamline operations for our new combined 18,000 square foot  Los Gatos Office and surrounding areas. Alain Pinel agents from Los Gatos have helped the firm achieve market share leadership in the Los Gatos, Willow Glen, Rose Garden, Cambrian, Campbell and Almaden areas of San Jose, plus many of the sales professionals in Los Gatos are market experts in neighboring Saratoga and Monte Sereno. Serving as mentor to nearly 180 sales professionals -- which is one of the largest sales forces nationwide in the industry with over a Billion dollars in closed sales every year. Jeff also works continuously with 10 staffers to facilitate sales, marketing and negotiation strategies to ensure outstanding customer service and renewal business. Jeff frequently teaches newly licensed sales professionals presentations skills and is very active in the California Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. Jeff is now Regional Manager/Vice President of Alain Pinel Realtors. Jeff and his wife Kari have 3 children -- Brandon, Jaydon and Shauna. 

Vanessa Bergmark
VanessaBergmarkA native New Yorker, Vanessa started her career in real estate in 2003 as a sales agent, moving into management just one year later.  For three years she ran a large franchise, growing it to the #2 in profitability in the Northern CA region.  In the 2007 downturn she left to manage a small, independent brokerage, one year later becoming General Manager of the entire company, and ultimately acquiring the 35 year old brokerage with her partner in 2010.  Since then, she has rebranded  and reshaped the entire organization, moving it from 12th in market share to number 3 in just 4 years.  Presently, she oversees the 80 sales agents in two offices located in Berkeley and Oakland, CA.  She has spoken about branding, culture and agent retention at several organizations and conferences including ICSF, ICNY, NAR, CAR and Who's Who in Luxury.  In 2013 she was named as one of Inman's 100 Most Influential Leaders in Real Estate. She currently resides in Oakland,CA with her husband and two young children.

Mike Bui
Mike BuiAn Entrepreneur at heart, Mike has started many companies and has a broad business background that he channels to seize opportunities as they arise. While in college, Mike started and sold his first Automobile Parts company which wholesaled electrical parts to Checkers Schucks Kragen, Napa and Pep Boys Retailers. More recently, Mike managed an Investment Fund which had 10 Million Dollars under management for Real Estate Acquisitions, Re-Development and Sales in the Silicon Valley before starting EQ1 Real Estate in 2013 which now has grown into 2 offices with nearly 30 Brokers and Agents.
Mike Bui is currently President & CEO of EQ1 Real Estate and Reality TV Star of HGTV's Flip It to Win It series.

Mike leads, develops and manages marketing and sales strategies for the firm. He brings a unique perspective to his position; innovation, technology and social media marketing.
With nearly a decade of marketing communications and sales experience, Mike develops integrated marketing strategies that employ online, social networking tools, as well as more traditional tactics including media relations, print advertising and grassroots campaigns. Mike leverages technology to market and reach clients through all mediums, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Yelp, Pinterest and more.

Mike received his BS from California State University of Sacramento in Business Administration emphasizing in Marketing and Finance. Wes Burk
Wes BurkWes graduated from one of the top Information System programs in the country at The University of Colorado in Boulder. After interning for the country’s most productive Realtors, Wes knew real estate was for him. Earning Rookie of the Year in Ruidoso, New Mexico’s Board of Realtors and Top Producer awards for Re/Max of Ruidoso, Wes was well on his way to success in the industry. “Moving to San Luis Obispo was the result of a year spent searching the country for the BEST place to live,” says Wes.

With a passion for involvement Wes has served as President of the San Luis Obispo Association of Realtors, Chairman of the Multiple Listing Service, Director for the Workforce Housing Coalition, Trustee for CAR’s Housing Affordability Fund and currently acts as Chairman for the Santa Margarita Area Advisory Council. He was elected Realtor of the Year and currently serves on numerous committees at a state level. “After years of Managing one of the most successful real estate companies in town, it is a thrill to have an ownership interest in Patterson Realty. Audie Chamberlin

Mark Dilbeck
markdilbeckMark, like his father, Ray, before him, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Dilbeck Real Estate, placing a high value on honesty and the commitment that comes with a handshake. He is proud of leading an organization dedicated to consistently exceeding expectations.

Giving back to the community is important to Mark. He was instrumental in developing the Dilbeck Real Estate Charitable Foundation and serves as its Chairman. He has volunteered his time for a variety of organizations. Mark has served as a Director of the California Association of Realtors, the Glendale Association of Realtors, Wescom Credit Union, a local Chapter of the American Red Cross and other organizations. He has also served on a myriad of committees in the real estate, financial and legal arenas, including serving as Chairman of C.A.R.’s Educational Services Advisory Committee, Chairman of C.A.R.’s Legal Affairs Forum and Chairman of C.A.R.’s Legal Action Fund Trustees.
Mark is also a graduate of the Young Presidents' Organization. Prior to joining Dilbeck Real Estate, Mark worked several years for a downtown L.A. law firm, including a year abroad on loan to an international firm in Sydney, Australia.

Wendy Forsythe
Wendy ForsytheWendy has leveraged her passion for real estate, technology and branding to help build successful real estate networks in both Canada and the United States. Since joining Carrington Real Estate Services in 2012 as Executive Vice President/Head of Global Operations the company has more than tripled in size. She is responsible for the operations and growth of the brokerage which today has over 2400 agents across the country. In addition she leads the brand strategy, marketing, training and online initiatives.

Peter Hernandez
Peter HernandezPeter Hernandez is a Founder, and President of Teles Properties, Inc.  He oversees branch management, marketing, brokerage, transactional management, and agent recruitment for the firm.  Peter founded Teles Properties in 2007, creating an unrivaled high-end boutique that challenged the status quo in luxury real estate on many fronts.

Peter began his career in 1970 at the family firm Hernandez Realty, the leading agency in Marina Del Rey.  He joined Jon Douglas Company in 1983 and worked as a top-producing agent until 1988, when he began his management career overseeing several offices for both Jon Douglas and Coldwell Banker as a branch manager and was later promoted to regional manager.  Peter served as President and COO for Coldwell Banker in Orange County where he managed 17 offices and increased the sales force to approximately 1,100 agents in less than five years.  During his tenure  as President and COO for Coldwell Banker, Peter successfully implemented three acquisitions:  Dyson and Dyson Company, the Balboa Real Estate Company and Strada Properties.

Peter currently serves as a Director for the Beverly Hills / Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors, and on the association’s Professional Standards Committee. Peter lives with his wife and daughter in Malibu, where he surfs, runs and golfs.

Sarah Kosasky
Sarah KosaskyAs a Founding Partner and the Manager of Partners Trust Malibu, Sarah Kosasky places a high priority on personal and professional growth and is always looking for new ways to enhance the real estate experience for both her clients and the real estate agents she leads and mentors.

Sarah is the current President of the Malibu Association of Realtors® and a Director for the California Association of Realtors®.  Furthering her leadership, Sarah serves on multiple committees devoted to guiding the future of real estate.

After graduating from The University of California Davis, Sarah entered the advertising industry where she worked to develop successful campaigns for numerous Fortune 500 companies. Peter Loewy
Peter LoewyPeter Loewy is the Chairman and CEO of Teles Properties, Inc.  Peter began his career as an attorney with Fragomen Del Rey Bernsen and Loewy LLP. He managed a number of the firm’s domestic offices, leading to its international growth and eventual placement among the American Law top 200 law firms. His role culminated with his tenure as Managing Partner of the U.S. firm.

As CEO of real estate development firm Lowy Armstrong LLC, Peter directed projects all over California for over 20 years. During that time, the firm acquired and managed diverse real estate investments including commercial and residential leaseholds, high-end residential development and renovation projects and larger scale housing projects.
Mr. Loewy has also been an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Southwestern School of Law.

Peter is originally from the east coast but has assimilated well to California living. He and his family enjoy the outdoors, sports and the arts. He is an avid tennis and squash player.

Mark Peterson
Mark Peterson (small)RE/MAX MASTERS is pleased to have Mark Peterson on our exceptional management team. Mark has been in the real estate industry since 1985 and joined RE/MAX MASTERS in 1992 and has since been managing our Glendora office.

In 1991 Mark became a licensed broker and was promoted to general manager of the Glendora office in 2002. Mark is currently serving on the board of directors for the CVAR, and is director of the CAR. Joel Singer
joelsingerJoel Singer is Chief Executive Officer and State Secretary of the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS (C.A.R.), a statewide trade organization with 165,000 members dedicated to the advancement of professionalism in real estate.  Singer was instrumental in developing Real Estate Business Services Inc. (REBS), C.A.R.'s for-profit subsidiary, and serves as its president. He also is president and chief executive officer of zipLogix®, a subsidiary of REBS.

Singer has held the Association's top staff position since November 1989.  He previously served as C.A.R.’s Chief Economist and headed the Association's Public Affairs Department.  He also has been directly involved in the development of key business technologies and significant housing legislation in California.

Before joining C.A.R. in 1978, Singer spent several years as a Chancellor's Intern Fellow at UCLA and a Fulbright Fellow in West Germany.

Singer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and history in 1973 from UCLA.  He earned a Master’s degree in the same subjects in 1975 from UCLA.

Sharran Srivatsaa
Sharran SrivatsaaSharran Srivatsaa serves as the President of Teles Properties, Inc. Magazine's fastest growing real estate brokerage in California. In addition to striving to build the most advanced agent service platform in the industry, Sharran’s focus includes Teles’ corporate growth strategy, client advisory and firmwide operations. Sharran earned his Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Math from Luther College, where he was an Academic All-American. He earned his MBA with Honors from Vanderbilt University, and served on Vanderbilt’s Alumni Board of Directors. Sharran also competed on the professional tennis tour and currently lives with his family in Orange County, California.

Brent Thomson
Brent ThompsonPacific Union International, Inc. President, Brent Thomson is responsible for the combined operations in Marin County. Thomson brings with her a proven track record of leading and motivating top performers in highly competitive industries.

Thomson’s 30 years of experience includes roles as a vice president of worldwide sales operation at both IBM Corporation and Lotus Development Corporation where she was responsible for multiple teams of sales professionals, generating revenue of $700 million per year. Michele Williams
Michele WilliamsMichele is the Broker and CEO of Star Real Estate South County.  Michele was born and raised in New Jersey she came out to California during her enlistment in the United States Marine Corp where she served as a C-130 aircraft mechanic at Marine Corp Air Station El Toro.  After putting herself through school at Chapman University she decided not to reenlist but instead try her hand in the Real Estate Market.  She got her license and began working at a local office where she became a top producer. After 2 years she got her brokers license and worked as an independent broker. During this time she invested all the commissions she had made into residential income properties and owned over 100 units in the long beach area.  Although managing the properties was a full time job Michele wanted to help and teach other agents how to build a sustainable career in real estate and build wealth as well so she opened her brokerage up to hiring agents. That company had grown from 2 agents to over 150 agents and is the top producing office in Aliso Viejo.  Since then she’s opened offices in Mission Viejo and San Clemente and has an escrow company in Laguna Niguel.

Michele stays very involved in the community.  She served as VP for the governmental affairs committee for the South County Chamber of Commerce.  She also served as a trustee for the board of Realtors political action committee as well as a director for the California Association of Realtors and the Orange County association of Realtors.  She is a past- president for the Women’s Council of Realtors South Orange County chapter.  Michele is an active member in the Republican party and is an activist for small business issues and private property rights. 

Michele has 3 children, her first child, Tyson, from her first marriage and two children she adopted from Ethiopia, Tamu and Negasse. Michele is married to David Harrington who recently retired from The Orange County Sheriffs Dept. and is now a councilman for the City of Aliso Viejo.

Michael Zagaris
Mike ZagarisMichael Zagaris is CEO of PMZ Real Estate headquartered in Modesto.  He also serves as Chairman of Scenic Oaks Funding, Managing Member of CentralValleyJobs.com,  and Board Member of Cypress Title Corporation.

His community activities have included the co-founding of the Leadership Modesto Program, leading the development of the California State University, Stanislaus Foundation, and spearheading the rebirth of Modesto’s historic State Theatre. Mike currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Realty Alliance and the Board of Governors of Doctors Medical Center.

Mike helped found a number of successful businesses outside of the real estate space including Assay Technology, DirectLine Technologies and CentralValleyJobs.com.

Mike graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and received his MBA from Santa Clara University.

He is the author of the highly regarded book “How to Succeed in Real Estate… From the People in the Trenches Who Do It Every Day”.
