Education Foundation Local AOR Grant

Education Foundation

The California Association of REALTORS® Education Foundation is happy to announce its new Local AOR Grant Program under which four (4) local associations will be selected to receive grants up to $5,000 each, which shall be used to provide additional education opportunities to their members. The purpose of the new grant program is to touch more members, especially during these unprecedented times. 

Criteria & Acknowledgements for Local AOR Grant Application 
Note: All Associations are eligible to apply

Local Associations are required to submit the following documents at the time of submission:

• Description and details of the education course(s)/program(s) to be offered
• Projected timeline of the education course(s)/program(s) to be offered
• Estimated budget for course(s)/program(s) to be offered
• A letter on the local association’s official letterhead signed by the sitting president acknowledging the grant request, specifying the amount of funds requested, and describing how the funds will be used

Local Associations are required to acknowledge all of the following at the time of submission:

• The grant will be used only for Member Education, and no other purpose
• The local association will consider proposing education programs addressing issues such as fair housing, discrimination, and implicit bias.
• For marketing purposes, the C.A.R. Education Foundation logo will be used on all materials that promote the course(s)/program(s) funded by the grant
• The local association, if awarded a grant, will submit a report no later than six months after completion of the course(s)/program(s), describing and confirming how funds were used
