Job Title: Research & Industry Relations Coordinator

Reports To: Deputy Chief Economist & Industry Relations Manager

Group: Member Information

The Research& Industry Relations Coordinator position requires a broad range of skills and experience in support of key research and industry relations objectives and goals.  In addition to general support of the Membership Information Group with California Association of Realtors, the position will be responsible for assistance with report preparation, publishing and communication of information, compilation and maintenance of external and internal databases, preparation of outreach presentations, website maintenance, and creating and managing content for social media and web campaigns. The ideal candidate for this position will have demonstrated experience in marketing,  research, database management, and creative design.

Responsibilities:

  • Assistance with department’s website - content organization and management of ongoing updates
  • Maintain economic and market data used in outreaches and for research analysis
  • General support of the research team:  data gathering and presentation preparation
  • General support of the industry relations team:  data gathering and presentation preparation
  • Preparation of survey reports, digital images, presentations, market-related articles
  • Creation and maintenance of databases of relevant information and programs and dissemination of information to real estate community
  • Perform in survey research (via Qualtrics, online survey tool), contribute to content for marketing materials, manage key metrics for Industry Relations events, and report feedback to management
  • Create content for real estate community using news and statistics on industry statistics, as well as promotional strategies, and material preparation
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Membership Information Group

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • Minimum of 1 years of general experience in Marketing and event coordination 
  • Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) 
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers to provide support and resolve issues
  • Experience with customer relations and overall event coordination
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Experience with web content management and email distribution/marketing automation
  • Experience with creating infographics/motion graphics and photo editing software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks on time and within budget
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve individual and organization objectives
  • Excellent grammar and ability to proofread
  • Excellent work ethic and attendance.
  • Consistency in giving feedback regarding work progress, timetable and issues.
  • Speed and accuracy are a must
