Job Title: Part Time Research Coordinator

Reports To: Deputy Chief Economist

Group: Member Information


We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Research Coordinator to join our team part time!  The Research Coordinator position requires a broad range of skills and experience in support of key research and communications objectives and goals.  In addition to general support of the Membership Information Group with California Association of Realtors, the position will be responsible for assistance with report preparation, publishing and communication of information, compilation and maintenance of external and internal databases, preparation of outreach presentations, ad-hoc policy research, website maintenance, special event planning, and managing content for social media and web campaigns.



  • Assistance with department’s website - content organization and management of ongoing updates
  • Maintain economic and market data used in outreaches and for research analysis
  • General support of the research team:  data gathering and presentation preparation
  • Preparation of survey reports, presentations, market-related articles
  • Creation and maintenance of databases of relevant information and programs and dissemination of information to real estate community
  • Support of the department’s social media campaign including frequent monitoring of and activity on Facebook, Twitter, blog etc.
  • Coordination of special events for real estate community, including promotional strategies, content development and material preparation, exhibit logistics, travel coordination and communications
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Membership Information Group



Minimum education required

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field


Minimum Experience Required

Minimum of 1 years of general experience in Marketing


Skills Required

  • Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers to provide support and resolve issues
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Experience with web content management and email distribution/marketing automation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks on time and within budget
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve individual and organization objectives
  • Experience with social media content management
  • Excellent grammar and ability to proofread
  • Excellent work ethic and attendance.
  • Consistency in giving feedback regarding work progress, timetable and issues.
  • Speed and accuracy are a must
