Title: REBS Business Development Manager

Group: Real Estate Business Services

Reports To: REBS Vice President

The REBS Business Development Manager is responsible for working with the business development team to identify, evaluate, and implement new product/service development and marketing partnership opportunities for increased revenue generation.  Ongoing management of partner relationships is also a critical role for this position. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, is comfortable with new technology, is creative and solution oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment managing concurrent projects.  Most importantly, the candidate is supportive of REALTORS® and their role in the real estate industry.



  • Manage and oversee business development opportunities under the direction of the REBS Vice President.
  • Work with business development team to evaluate, onboard and manage various business partnerships and programs.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments within both REBS and C.A.R. to optimize program success and synergies with other internal initiatives and programs.
  • Management, development, and implementation of business and marketing plans for multiple partnerships and programs.  This includes active participation into branding, messaging, marketing and promotional collateral development.
  • Utilize project management software tools to work effectively within the team structure.
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
  • Work with external partners, other internal business units and independently to increase revenue.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Post-secondary degree in Business Management or Communication or related fields preferred and/or minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development and/or management.
  • Real estate industry experience preferred.
  • Project management and collaboration tools experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding customer service orientation.
  • Ability to function effectively and prioritize actions for a variety of challenging situations and circumstances, including difficult project deadlines, tight budgets, and evolving objectives.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently analyze, identify and implement solutions, while keeping stakeholders and leaders informed.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner.
  • Excellent work ethic and attendance.
  • Provide consistent feedback regarding work progress, timetables and potential issues.
  • Occasional business travel, 3-5 times yearly.
