Job Title: Customer Contact Center Representative

Reports To: Director of Customer Experience and Operations

Group: Operations – Customer Contact Center

 

The CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Customer Contact Center Representative.  The Customer Contact Center Representative will serve as the front line of support for the company via phone, fax and e-mail.  You will become a member of a hardworking, enthusiastic, and dynamic team of representatives.  As a member of this team, you will field a variety of calls ranging from simple website registration login questions to providing technical support for multiple software applications.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and fax.
  • Additional Primary Responsibilities:
  • Answer a high volume of calls on a daily basis.
  • Assist customer with website and software navigation.
  • Pre-screen phone calls for legal hotline attorneys.
  • Follow up with customers via email in a timely manner.
  • Continually learn about Association programs and communicate them accurately to customers.
  • Complete special projects for the department as necessary.

 

Minimum education required.

High school. Bachelor’s degree preferred

 

Minimum Experience Required

Must have demonstrated experience dealing with a high volume of incoming calls

 

Skills Required

  • Must have a high level of computer literacy and proficiency on MS Word, Outlook, Windows and Internet Explorer
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and type 40 wpm
  • Commitment to outstanding customer/member service
  • Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding customer service orientation.
  • Ability to function effectively in a variety of challenging situations and circumstances, including difficult project deadlines, demanding customers, tight budgets, and evolving goals and objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner.
  • Excellent work ethic and attendance.
  • Consistency in giving feedback regarding work progress, timetable and issues.

  • MS Word
  • MS Excel
  • MS Outlook
  • HiPath ProCenter phone system
  • MS Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Knowledge Base
  • Rapattoni (Customer Database)
  • MS Internet Explorer
  • Epicor (Product Order Intake, Research Orders)
  • Magento Management System (C.A.R. Online Database)
