Job Title: Account Executive, Event Sales

Reports To: Director, Ad Sales

Group: Communications


Position Overview

Exciting opportunity for tenacious sales professional to lead the way in expanding revenue opportunities for a well-established and respected real estate organization.  The Account Executive will be responsible for creating and executing strategies to maximize sales for digital and print advertising, along with exhibit space and sponsorship sales for our well-attended annual conference

  • Sell print and digital advertising space within our award-winning magazine, websites, and e-media channels.
  • Generate exhibit booth and sponsorship sales for well-established trade show.
  • Achieve and exceed short- and long-term revenue targets.
  • Prospect for new business and provide new revenue-generating opportunities to existing vendors.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers.
  • Identify, research, and implement new growth areas for sales.
  • Travel to conferences, trade shows, and in-person client meetings as needed.


  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience.
  • Digital sales experience is a plus, as is a tradeshow background.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, oral, written, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Knowledge of contact management database a plus.
  • Ability to function effectively in a variety of challenging situations and circumstances, including difficult project deadlines, demanding customers, tight budgets, and evolving goals and objectives.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to solve practical problems, take direction, multi-task and prioritize.
