C.A.R. recently has been featured in a number of stories regarding C.A.R.’s refusal to partner with an entity, dotloop. Much has been made in the industry media about C.A.R.’s business decisions regarding its forms software and allegations made that C.A.R. is denying its members a choice of providers. It’s time to set the record straight.
C.A.R. would like to make it abundantly clear this is not about denying members a choice, rather it is about protecting our members' privacy and their business. Unlike certain software companies, C.A.R. and zipLogix would never share the personal information that is contained within its forms with the public or post such information anywhere that would put its members at risk.
C.A.R. is letting its members decide with which provider they would like to do business – one that values and protects its members’ privacy, or one that freely shares its users’ personal information and uses and reproduces your content however it wishes.
