Save the date for Legislative Day 2017, a day filled with networking, meetings with your state legislators, lively industry related Hot Topic discussions and much, much more!  


Register with your local Association so that you can join in on the fun!

For the past 45 years, Legislative Day has remained C.A.R.’s pinnacle legislative event.  Legislative Day gives California REALTORS® the opportunity to meet and discuss real estate issues directly with their state legislators and staff.  Attending Legislative Day is not only a great investment in your business, it also provides you with an opportunity to hear from California's most dynamic political leaders and the leadership of your state association.  After a rewarding day of business, join your fellow REALTORS® at the fabulous Capitol Reception! We look forward to seeing you again at this year's Legislative Day and hope to see many new faces as well!

Registration: Contact your local association to register for Legislative Day 2017! Local associations often plan events or luncheons to coincide with Legislative Day.  C.A.R. does not plan, arrange or schedule individual members, or associations, visit to Sacramento. Legislative Day Scholarship Fund: The C.A.R. Leg Day Scholarship Program helps local associations bring new members to Legislative Day. The scholarship program provides associations with a reimbursement towards the travel expenses of members who have never attended Legislative Day.  This money, which varies depending on the distance traveled, can be used to underwrite transportation, hotel, and meal costs.   Find out more!

Legislative Day 101 webinars.  Legislative Day Scholarship attendees must attend one of two scheduled webinars. This webinar is also a great refresher for any members attending Legislative Day.  Leg Day 101 webinar will be held on Tuesday, April 25th, and Thursday, April 27th (times TBD). Members only need to attend  ONE webinar.

• April 21st - badge/seating request submissions due. Use the Seating/badge form to enter this year’s attendees.
• April 25th and April 27th - Legislative Day 101 Webinar (times TBD)
• April 14th - Final Legislative Day Scholarship applications are due
• April 26th - Last minute badge and seating request changes due.

Individual Lunches and Legislator Meetings:
Most local associations organize lunches for their members, while Key Contacts coordinate the legislator office visit. Please check with your local association for any of these events or see the Legislative Day Appointments Schedule for meeting information. C.A.R. does not plan, arrange or schedule individual members or associations visit to Sacramento.

Come mix and mingle with California's power elite, at the Capitol Reception. The Capitol Reception honors  C.A.R.'s valued political contributors and State VIPs. You won’t want to miss the annual Capitol Reception! Mix and mingle with REALTORSâ from across the state and with California’s political leaders.  Admission includes terrific food, two drink tickets and photographs. This event is designed to honor those of you who contribute to C.A.R.’s political activities – please see below for details:
