StaffThank you to those who signed up to work the Welcome Desk and EXPO Registration Counter during the week.  The sign-up sheets are attached.Showcase: This is the second year for the California REALTOR® Showcase featuring100 companies in Exhibit Hall C.  To encourage participation to the Showcase, a luncheon was added on Thursday featuring Leslie Appleton-Young.  She will present the Mid-year Forecast with a focus on the northern and central valley regions of California.  As of today, over 700 attendees have registered for the Showcase Luncheon.  Additionally, an online registration system was added to the Showcase this year to allow us to track and badge all attendees to Legislative Day, Showcase andthe Luncheon.EXPO: The California REALTOR® EXPO Registration opened on May 2.  To date, close to 1,000 have registered for EXPO.  The  luncheon speakers have been booked or in the final contract stage:  Tuesday, Frans Johansson,author of The Medici Effect; Wednesday, Leslie Appleton-Young and Thursday, Coach John Wooden has been invited to speak.  The Wednesday Evening event will be held at Disneyland. DRE Commission Davi is speaking on Wednesday.  As you cansee EXPO is charging forward. Members will be able to register for EXPO during the week at the EXPO desk located in the Registration area. EXPO Registration is NOT in the exhibit hall as originally planned.   We need your assistance workingthe EXPO Desk beginning on Wednesday morning.   As you are the EXPO Committee,  EXPO Registration is the responsibility of the EXPO Advisory Committee this week.   The entire committee should participate! If you require further information, please contact the staff coordinator, Betty Thomas, 213.739.8236 or bettyt@car.org.
