REALTOR® Action Fund SPA RETREAT CONTEST RULES
All ticket purchasers for the "Spa Retreat" fundraising event shall be automatically entered into the drawing.
Prizes: Apple iPad2, $300 Southwest Gift Card, Amazon Kindle, and a Visa Gift Card of $500 for contributors of $148+
Ticket purchasers can opt to distribute their tickets in any manner between the three prizes. There will be three drawings and each winner will receive that prize. Approximate retail value for the Apple iPad is $450, approximate retail value for the Southwest gift card is $300, and approximate retail value for the Kindle is $190 (prizes not redeemable for cash).
Purchasers of packages $148 or higher will receive one ticket per individual to enter a drawing for a Visa Gift Card prize worth $500 (prize not redeemable for cash).
Eligibility: All state and / or local REALTORS® Association Members (including Affiliate Members, staff and their families) are eligible to participate. Participants must be residents of the United States, and over 18 years in age. Employees of the California Association of REALTORS®, its subsidiaries and their families are ineligible. The contest will start on Monday, April 18, 2011, and end on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. Entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of the Sacramento Association of REALTORS®, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this contest.
Drawing: The drawing for the contest will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Pool Deck, on the first floor of the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento, California. Winner does not have to be present to win. Winner not present will be promptly notified by telephone, and the prize shall be mailed to the winner by certified mail within 30 days of the drawing date, unless other arrangements are agreed upon by the Sacramento Association of REALTORS®. Return of any mailed prize to the Sacramento Association of REALTORS® may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
No Purchase Necessary: See below for entry information.** Odds of winning shall be based on the total number of entries. Four prizes to be awarded in all, and no other prizes shall be awarded. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All prize winners shall promptly provide the Sacramento Association of REALTORS® with information to comply with federal, state, and local tax laws, or may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Participants agree that they have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these rules, which shall be final.
Liability: All taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. By entering, participants release and hold harmless the Sacramento Association of REALTORS®, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest or any prize won. The Sacramento Association of REALTORS® does not assume any responsibility for lost, misdirected, late, or non-delivered mail.
Political contributions are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal and state income tax purposes. All proceeds from ticket purchases shall go to the CREPAC/Federal, the California Association of REALTORS® political action committee which supports candidates for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. Corporate contributions are not allowed for CREPAC/Federal, and contributions in excess of amount allowed under the Federal Election Campaign Act shall be refunded to the contributor.

A free entry may be submitted by providing your name, address and telephone number on a 3 x 5 index card with words "Spa Retreat" in a separate stamped envelope and mailed to the Sacramento Association of REALTORS® at 2003 Howe Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95825. All mailed entries must be received by 4:00pm on Wednesday May 4 in order to be eligible.
