C.A.R. EDUCATION FOUNDATION
It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to solicit contributions before each Directors Meeting with a letter to each local association.
It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to create a proposal to solicit funding from Corporate Sponsorships & C.A.R. SPF Committee
It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to market the C.A.R. Education Foundation through the C.A.R. Website, local associations, REBS Education Department, e-blasts & Social Networking (i.e. - Facebook & Twitter).
It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to work with the Education Committee, Kaplan and Anthony schools regarding with the Designation companies to promote the foundation and solicit funding. - Nancy Troxell to Chair this subcommittee
It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to create an Education Foundation Pin for certain levels of contributions such as $500 for Bronze, $1,000 for Silver and $1,500 for Gold member sponsors. (Not sure of amounts??) Pat Huffman will Chair this subcommittee
It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to create an Education Foundation – Contribution Plaque program for local associations who make a significant contributions (i.e. ?? $1,500 or more ??)
or Contribution Ribbons for members who make a significant contributions (i.e. ??$100 or more??) - Pat Huffman will Chair this subcommittee
It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to have a Raffle once again which Dianne Rath will Chair – tickets will be available during our Spring Business Meetings. The prize will be a Cruise for two???
It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to have an EXPO booth in San Jose – Lisa Keith will Chair & Diana Wood will Vice Chair this subcommittee.
C.A.R. SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION
It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to create a Legacy Fund for members – Talk to members about creating a fund in their name. – Lisa Keith will Chair this subcommittee.
