Showcase: The Showcase will feature twenty (20) table top displays this year and four (4) informative seminars.. Both vendor table tops and seminars will be held in Room 202 on the second floor of the convention center. These seminars are free to all attendees. C.A.R. Vice President, Joel Singer, will present the Thursday Luncheon entitled, “Why Lenders Can’t Lend: The Uncertain Future of Real Estate Finance.” It will be a sold-out lunch.
EXPO: The California REALTOR® EXPO Registration opened on May 18. This year, we have revamped Tech Tuesday and it is now called PRE EXPO. In addition to offerings on Tuesday, the luncheon speakers are: Tuesday Speaker, Jason Dorsey, The Gen Y Guy; Wednesday Speaker, Leslie Appleton-Young, C.A.R. Vice President and Chief Economist; and Thursday, Walt Mossberg, author and creator of the weekly Personal Technology column in The Wall Street Journal.
The EXPO Early Bird Fees will expire on May 27, 2011. Members will be able to register for EXPO at the EXPO Counter located in the Registration area. We need your assistance working the EXPO Counter beginning on Wednesday morning. The entire committee should participate!
Each member of the EXPO Committee is being asked to visit a few Regional Caucuses on Thursday evening to talk up the EXPO. We will provide you with a script and the Regional Caucus assignment.. This will be discussed during our committee meeting.
