Additionally, numerous examples from the field were also shared under the various agenda topics:  Restrictions on maintenance of vacant foreclosure properties in Los Angeles and the impact of FHA policies against financing of vacant foreclosed properties with city imposed fines in Palmdale; NAR grant-funded, RAF fundraiser in Santa Cruz; NAR grant-funded smart growth workshop and foreclosure prevention events in Orange County, NAR grant-funded tech expo as well as a fundraising event using light rail and a tour of C.A.R. headquarters sponsored by the Arcadia AOR; NAR grant-funded citizens leadership academy and smart growth tour in Chula Vista; NAR grant-funded green home expo in Alameda; NAR diversity grant-funded leadership training event in Victor Valley; spa retreat fundraiser in Sacramento; point-of-sale energy audits in Lodi and Chico (defeated); downzoning and the general plan in San Diego County; the defeat of Proposition F (rent reduction) in San Francisco; Measure A (water issue) in Santa Clara County; general plan update task force meeting in Humboldt County.
