Key Contacts, in compliance with the CREPAC State contribution check delivery process; the CREPAC contribution check will be sent via Federal Express to the legislator's Treasurer.
FPCs, in compliance with the RPAC contribution check delivery process; the RPAC contribution checks are mailed directly to the FPC. RPAC's policy is to try and have the check delivered within 15 days of receipt of the check.
Upon receipt of notification that a check has been mailed directly to the treasurer or the FPC, please do the following:
Contact your legislator’s campaign treasurer/fundraiser to let them know that a contribution has been mailed and find out if there are any local fundraisers scheduled for the near future and be sure to negotiate for as many tickets as possible to any of these events.
Decide whether the contribution will be used to attend a local fundraiser or perhaps set up a meet and greet at the association that allows more members to visit with their elected official.
Please be sure to include all the local association executives and government affairs directors in that particular legislative district, which are listed on the email notification or in the Legislative Crossover Index to coordinate attendance.
Please invite only those members that have invested $148 or above to the REALTOR® Action Fund.
Lastly, please, no friends or family—only REALTOR® members.
