Call-for-Action Update: Loan Limits Reinstated
On November 17, 2011 Congress restored the loan limits for FHA for two years. In late September the FHA and Fannie/Freddie Loan Limits were reduced in 42 states pricing potential home buyers out of the American Dream of home ownership and holding back the housing recovery. REALTORS® immediately went to work with the goal to get the loan limits restored in Congress. Read more.

REALTOR® Broker Involvement

C.A.R. and NAR know that when brokers tell their agents that something is important, agents listen. This is especially true when brokers ask their agents to respond to Red Alerts or Calls-for-Action on legislative issues that will affect their business. That’s why both organizations have started broker involvement programs to increase member participation in Red Alerts and Calls-for-Action so that we can successfully pass good laws and fight bad legislation.

Through these visits, field representatives promote overall member involvement in C.A.R.’s political programs by encouraging members to register to vote and vote in every election, become a Legislative Liaison, respond to Red Alerts and contribute to the REALTOR® Action Fund.
