NAR Designation Courses
Green Designation
You can become the green real estate resource for their community. Two days of live lecture, plus a six-hour elective completed online are required for this NAR designation. The core curriculum includes green building principles and practices, as well as regulatory issues.
* Upon completion of a six-hour online elective course (Residential, Commercial, or Business), the Green Resource Council will issue certificates to REALTORS® who have successfully completed both the core course and the elective.
NAR Green Designation Residential Elective
NAR's Green Designation Residential Elective Course provides you with the awareness and knowledge of green building principles specifically applied in residences. You will learn how to guide buyer-clients in purchasing and retrofitting green homes, help sellers list and market their green properties, and be an advocate for greener homes in your community. This one-day, six-hour course counts as credit toward earning NAR's Green Designation.
Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®)
Seniors Real Estate Specialists are REALTORS® qualified to meet the special needs and concerns of maturing Americans. By earning the SRES® designation you will demonstrate the requisite knowledge and expertise to counsel older clients through major financial lifestyle transitions involved in relocating, refinancing, or selling the family home. This course is Department of Real Estate (DRE) accredited for 12 hours of Continuing Education (CE) in Consumer Service.
Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) Designation Course
The overall goals of the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) Designation course is a two-day course that prepares real estate professionals to represent buyer-clients in real estate transactions and provide the quality of service and degree of fidelity to buyers that sellers enjoy. The course will offer ongoing specialized information, programs and updates that help you stay on top of the issues and trends in successfully representing homebuyers. This course is Department of Real Estate accredited for 12 hours of Continuing Education (CE) in Consumer Protection.
Short Sales and Foreclosures: What Real Estate Professionals Need to Know (SFR)

Your Guide to the California Residential Purchase Agreement
NEWLY Updated Course for 2010!
This class will familiarize REALTORS® with the 2010 changes to The California Residential Purchase Agreement and Joint Escrow Instructions (Form RPA-CA). The RPA-CA form is the cornerstone of every successful real estate transaction in California, and there are several essential concepts, principles, and facts about this form that all REALTORS® should know. This course is Department of Real Estate (DRE) accredited for 4 hours of Continuing Education (CE) in Consumer Protection.
Distressed Properties (Short Sales, Foreclosures, And Lender REO's)
Distressed Properties is a 4-hour course with continuing education credits in Consumer Protection. This course familiarizes real estate agents with the procedures used in the sale and disposition of distressed properties.
