In this hands-on, extremely broad-based position, you will incorporate both creativity and strategy into marketing plans and program promotion. You will find yourself working on the annual membership guide, creating member benefit materials, digital marketing, collaborating on the annual tradeshow marketing collateral, and more. • Create and implement various marketing elements, from writing email campaigns to writing video scripts, maintaining social media visibility to conceptualizing creative promotions for various programs. • Create and implement marketing plans and timelines for numerous programs and products simultaneously. • Handle all marketing duties with respect to all programs from various departments requiring such services within the Communication department. • Write and edit marketing copy for print and online projects, including email campaigns, social media posts, video scripts and magazine pieces. • Collaborate in the planning, coordinating, and executing of our annual tradeshow, CALIFORNIA REALTOR® EXPO. • Supervise and direct freelance graphic designers on projects as needed. • Maintain oversight of all graphics and marketing-related policies and procedures for the Association. • Be the point person for staff in terms of providing guidance for all marketing-related activities. • Handle various duties related to assisting the product marketing function of our for-profit subsidiary, REBS.
Skills and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communication or Marketing. • 3 to 5 years of experience in senior level marketing with exposure to print, online, and events. • Strong creative thinking and out-of-the-box marketing ideas. • Ability to think strategically. • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills. • Adept at managing the full marketing process from conception to completion. • Hands-on, self-starter with excellent attention to detail. • Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Suite. • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and outstanding customer service orientation. • Ability to function effectively in a variety of challenging situations and circumstances, including difficult project deadlines, demanding customers, tight budgets, and evolving goals and objectives. • Ability to work effectively with co-workers and management by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner.
