Q. How many C.A.R. Scholarships may I win per year and throughout my studies at a California college or university? A. An Applicant may win up to 1 per calendar year and 2 total in his or her lifetime.
Q. How often does the Foundation award scholarships? A. The C.A.R. Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships 3 times a year during every C.A.R. Business Meeting, which take place in the Winter, Spring, and Fall.
Q. If I am a high school student interested in pursuing a career in the real estate field, do I quality for a scholarship? A. An individual must be currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year college in California.
Q. I am a university student and have a 2.1 GPA, does this qualify me for a scholarship? A. Students must have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 2.6 or higher from all colleges/universities attended.
Q. I am a freshman student at a 2 year college and currently enrolled in one real estate course, does this qualify me for a scholarship? A. Students must be enrolled at the time of applicaiton in a minimum of 6 units. At least 1 course must be Real Estate or Real Estate related. Students must also have completed a minimum of 12 college level course units with the last 4 years. At least 2 courses must have been real estate or real estate related courses.
