Q. How many C.A.R. Scholarships may I win per year, what is the maximum?
A. An Applicant may win up to one per calendar year and two total in their lifetime.
Q. How often does the foundation give away scholarships?
A. The C.A.R. Scholarship Foundation gives away scholarships three times per year, during every C.A.R. Business Meeting which take place in the Winter, Spring & Fall.
Q. If I am a high school student interested in pursuing a career in the real estate field, do I quality for a scholarship?
A. An individual must be currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year college in California.
Q. I am a university student and have a 2.1 GPA, does this qualify me for a scholarship?
A. Students must have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 2.6 or higher from all colleges/universities attended.
Q. I am a freshman student at a 2 year college and currently enrolled in one real estate course, does this qualify me for a scholarship?
A. Students must be enrolled at the time of applicaiton in a minimum of six units. At least once course must be Real Estate or Real Estate related. Students must also have completed a minimum of twelve college level course units with the last four year. At least two courses must have been real estate or real estate related courses.
