Regarding: Important Events for Californians 

NAR Governance Meetings Schedule
Monday, November 2 through Friday, November 13
If you are a meeting participant, you will receive a link to participate in the meeting, directly. If you want to observe a meeting, you will be able to do so via the NAR Meeting Play platform as a registered attendee. 

Governance meetings will not be recorded for replay. If you are interested in viewing a particular meeting, be sure to add it to your schedule when the NAR Meeting Play platform opens.

As we prepare for the NAR REALTORS® Conference & Expo, I want to provide you with an overview of key activities for Californians attending the conference, committee meetings and Board of Directors meetings. 

1. California NAR Directors Issues Briefing. Monday November 2, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 pm. (PST) All Californians serving as NAR directors and committee members will meet for an issue briefing session to preview the issues of concern to California. All NAR directors and committee members must attend (unless you have an assigned committee or NAR conflict). All other Californians are also welcome. You Must Register in advance for this meeting. 2. NAR BOD Pre-Meeting and Voting Test. Friday, November 6, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (CST).This pre-meeting will allow Directors to become familiar with the virtual voting process and to address questions ahead of the board meeting. Directors are strongly encouraged to attend!

3. IMPORTANT UPDATE ON MLS/PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS COMMITTEE PRE-BRIEFING: Friday, October 30, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (PST)

Since the NAR Professional Standards meeting is NOT on the same day as the MLS Committee per the usual practice, the California pre-briefing for the NAR PS committee will occur THIS Friday, October 30th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (PST) instead of November 6th as previously announced.

The November 6th meeting for the MLS pre-briefing will still take place as scheduled. Below please find information to register for any wishing to attend the PS Pre-briefing. It is not limited to committee members only but AEs and other NAR directors interested in this particular committee are welcome to attend.

MLS/ProStandards Committee Briefing. Friday, November 6, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (PST).

Must Register in advance for this meeting.

4. Region 13 Caucus. Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (CST). All Californians serving as NAR directors are expected to attend. 

5. Delegate Body Meeting. Friday, November 13, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (CST). This meeting has been canceled.

6. Below you will find links to the agenda for the directors’ issues briefing and committee agendas that will give you information necessary to participate in NAR's policy committee meetings.
