If you have registered on car.org prior to May 2008, this tutorial will assist you in migrating your old account to our new Web site.  You must be a current C.A.R. member or local association staff to migrate your account. 

As a member of the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.), you will be able to take advantage of advanced features on the new car.org, which include bookmarking; accessing password-protected areas; managing subscriptions and your personalized profile; accessing Web message alerts, and much more.

Please note: Non-members or new user should use the New User Registration process instead.

To begin, click on the "Register" button in the login box located in the upper right-hand corner of the page.  Select "C.A.R. Member or AOR Staff."

Next, select "I have a Username and Password for the old Web site that I created prior to May 2008."  Choosing this option will speed up the registration process and save you time.

Next, enter the Username and Password you created prior to May 2008 into the appropriate boxes.  Please note: the Username and Password fields are case sensitive.

You now will be able to create a new Username and Password.  Your Username must have at least six characters; your Password must also contain at least one number or a special character.  Secondly, as indicated in the screenshot below, you also will need to create a Secret Question and Answer to assist you in the event you forget your login information.  The Cell Phone option will allow us to send you a text message to help recover your login information.  (Standard rates apply.)

To complete the registration process, create your member profile by selecting the appropriate information.
