What is it?
Members that use zipForm® 6 Standard edition (also known as the desktop version) will be required to connect to the internet every 90 days to verify your REALTOR® membership.
At 45 days of non-connectivity to the internet, a message will appear inside of zipForm® 6 letting you know to connect to the internet for verification. This “nag message” is on every day until you connect to the internet or hit the 90-day mark. From that point on, you will be locked out of zipForm® 6 Standard until your membership can be verified. If you have an internet connection, membership verification is completed “behind the scenes.” No additional action is needed.
Starting on 6/19/12, if you have an internet connection but are found to be an inactive REALTOR® in NRDS (the National Association of REALTORS® database) zipForm® 6 Standard will be locked and will provide notice to contact your local Association to reinstate your membership.
As a reminder, those members that use zipForm® 6 Professional (online version) are already verified each time you log in through www.car.org.

What if I don't have an internet connection?
The reminder will appear starting at 45 days without an internet connection. Once you hit the 90-day limit, an internet connection must be made. There are no exceptions.
