Here’s a scenario: You’re on your computer and engaged in an online article when you realize that you have to leave to meet a client. You arrive at the meeting location early and decide to finish reading the article you started. You pick up your smartphone to look for the article, but you’ve either: a) forgotten where that article was online or b) the time you wasted trying to find it took up most of your 15 minutes of leisure.
If you were working with Google Chrome – a free universal web browser available on all PC/Laptops/Macs and Android or iOS devices – you could have synced the article and saved time and frustration
Open the App, and then sign-in with the same email you used in step one.
Start browsing on either device by using the search bar at the top of the screen next to the magnifying glass.
Note: If Chrome does not already prompt you to sign-in, click on the “options” icon on the top-right corner of the screen (pictured below), then scroll down to select “settings.” In the settings menu, select “sign-in to chrome,” and then press “Google Account” on the next menu to sign-in.
While browsing on your PC/Laptop/Mac and signed in to your email account, open the Google Chrome App on your mobile device, which also should be signed in with the same email account.
On the bottom of the screen, click on the “other devices” icon to bring up the “Other Devices menu" (pictured below).
In the “Other Devices Menu,” you should see your PC/Laptop/Mac. Click on your device to open the tabs on your mobile device, and then click on those tabs to continue browsing the web away from your computer.
