Three Northern California MLSs offer zipFormMLS-Connect
LOS ANGELES (Oct. 8) – Real Estate Business Services® (REBS®) today announced that three Northern California MLSs, Contra Costa MLS, Bay East MLS, and East Bay Regional Data Inc., are allowing access to the time-saving zipFormMLS-Connect® feature for its members. This will give agents easy access to MLS information while inside of their forms, as well as get parties to the signing table quickly. In addition to Bay East Association of REALTORS® and Contra Costa Association of REALTORS®, four other local associations make up this regional MLS: Alameda, Berkeley, Delta, Oakland, and West Contra Costa Associations of REALTORS®.
“Allowing our more than 10,000 REALTORS® in the MLS the ability to eliminate duplicate data entry during the forms-filling process is significant,” said Doreen Roberts, president of the Bay East Association of REALTORS®.
“This will free up their valuable time for more productive activities,” explained Contra Costa Association of REALTORS® President Barbara Safran.
The members are able to subscrbe to zipFormMLS-Connect® on an individual basis by visiting the shop option inside of zipForm® 6, a free C.A.R. member benefit. The annual price for zipFormMLS-Connect® is $19.95.
zipFormMLS-Connect® enables the user to import data that is stored in MLS databases. This feature assists agents in accurately adding information to their transactions and eliminates such tedious tasks as retyping data from print-outs of a listing or having to login to an MLS service to access the information first before creating a transaction.
zipFormMLS-Connect® greatly eases the transaction creation process and is also available through the mobile version of zipForm®. “As more agents work from smartphones and tablets, it’s important that we extend our data integrations into that environment as well,” said EBRDI Chairperson Dave Seyranian.
“This is the third regional MLS to implement zipFormMLS-Connect® this year,” said Robert Bailey, chairperson of REBS. “We’re happy that MLSs are seeing the value of this service.”
