Two associations of REALTORS® offer REALTOR® iPhone application through
customized My AOR app
LOS ANGELES (Jan 13) —
Real Estate Mobile Technologies LLC (REMT), the New
Jersey Association of REALTORS® (NJAR), and the North-Shore Barrington
Association of REALTORS® (NSBAR) today announced the launch of NJAR and
NSBAR Stats, the localized versions of
My AOR. My AOR is the first native iPhone application
developed for REALTOR® associations nationwide. The mobile application is
available at no charge for members of NJAR and NSBAR. Designed for the
iPhone/iTouch,
My AOR features: Current loan information;
association resources; the ability to search for education courses; hot
item news alerts; and links to information that may be of interest to
association directors.
“NJAR is excited to offer our members information on a mobile platform
developed specifically for REALTORS®,” said NJAR President Judy Appleby. ”The
easy customization of the My AOR app allows us to prioritize which sections are
most valuable to our members when they are on the go.
“The customizable app also features consumer data, such as current loan
information, enabling REALTORS® to help educate their clients about the current
market and initiate conversations about lender guidelines and the availability
of credit,” added NSBAR Chairperson Darla Terrell.
NJAR and NSBAR Stats can be downloaded directly from the Apple iTunes store for
free, by searching for the keywords “NJAR” or “NSBAR Stats” in the Applications
section. NSBAR members can acquire a members-only access code by visiting the
association Web site. The access code is then entered in the “REALTOR® ID”
field that exists on the application’s user profile page, providing additional
application functionality.
“The customizable My AOR mobile app is a valuable business tool that helps
establish connections between REALTORS® and clients,” said 2010 REMT Chairman
Robert Bailey.
Application updates are distributed through iTunes. iPhones and iTouches
automatically will notify users when such updates are available for
installation. Additional smartphone platform capabilities also are under
development.
The My AOR interface is a scalable, data-driven application that can be
licensed and branded by other local and state associations from REMT.
