C.A.R. unveils new look, features, and functionality on car.org
LOS ANGELES (March 9) –The CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.)
this week added new features and functionalities to car.org, the
Association’s official Web site.
“The Association understands that in today’s high-tech, fast-paced business
environment, Web sites are a key part of conducting business,” said C.A.R.
President Steve Goddard. “To better serve our members and provide useful
information about today’s housing market, C.A.R. worked on improving the
site based on extensive member feedback and data on users’
behaviors.”
Enhancements to the site include drop-down menu navigation, font size and
color changes for increased readability, and a new color palette for the
site. Additional highlights include:
- A “One Cool Thing” module highlighting a new cool service, product, or
application each day.
The addition of a “Stay Connected” module on the home page featuring links
to C.A.R.’s social networks, upcoming Webinars, current outreaches, and
consumer-specific resources.
- An enhanced video module with a side-scrolling option enabling visitors
to browse through a selection of video clips without leaving the home
page.
- car.org was named to the top 100 real estate Web sites visited most-often
in February, according to Web metrics firm Hitwise, which monitors a range
of Internet Service Provider (ISP) networks to capture the usage patterns
of Internet users.
