More than 1,500 REALTORS® converge in Sacramento for annual Legislative
Day

SACRAMENTO (June 2) – More than 1,500 members of the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF
REALTORS® (C.A.R.) will be in Sacramento tomorrow to participate in the
Association's 39th Annual Legislative Day activities.
Among the day's events are opportunities for REALTORS® to meet with the state's
political leaders. During the morning briefing, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11
a.m. at the Sacramento Convention Center, California Attorney General Edmund G.
Brown Jr. and Senator George Runner (R-Palmdale) will speak about issues
affecting the real estate industry.
Following the morning briefing, REALTORS® will march to the capital for a group
photo on the west steps, and then will meet with their elected officials during
the afternoon. Later that evening, C.A.R.'s valued political contributors and
state VIPs will mix and mingle with California’s power elite from 5:30 p.m. to
7:30 p.m. at the Capitol Reception at the Sheraton Grand Hotel. For more
