Fresno, Lake County, Madera County, and Merced County REALTOR® associations
become charter providers of calREDD™, the statewide Multiple Listing
Service
LOS ANGELES (March 26) – calREDD™ today announced that the Fresno Association
of REALTORS®, the Lake County Association of REALTORS®, the Madera County
Association of REALTORS®, and the Merced County Association of REALTORS® have
joined the statewide Multiple Listing Service (MLS) as charter providers.
calREDD™, an acronym for California Real Estate Dynamic Data, embodies the
long-term vision of creating one database for all California real property,
with advanced technology that goes beyond current MLS systems.
“Our leadership team was impressed with both the technology and the product
flexibility offered by calREDD™,” said Fresno Association of REALTORS® 2009
President Jared Martin. “We are excited to be a charter provider of products
and services offered by the statewide MLS and look forward to a productive
relationship.”
“Our association prides itself on providing the most efficient and latest
technology to our members,” said Lake County Association of REALTORS® 2009
President Anita McKee. “calREDD™ is the wave of the future and we are delighted
to be one of the first associations to offer our REALTORS® the opportunity to
be in the forefront of the industry with this new MLS platform.”
“We were searching for a new MLS system that provides an innovative way of
sharing property information data, is on the leading edge of technology, and is
cost-effective and user-friendly,” said Madera County Association of REALTORS®
2009 President E'Mira Torres. “We found that calREDD™ offers all of that and
more.”
“calREDD™ underscores our commitment to improve the working lives of our
members through technology that's cutting-edge and cost-effective,” said Merced
County Association of REALTORS® 2009 President Michele Gabriault-Acosta.
“calREDD™ is an innovative tool that we can bring to our members to help them
better serve their clients.”
The statewide MLS will allow brokers and agents to access the statewide data
through any participating AOR or MLS. Associations and MLSs may be part of the
system by using the new vendor as their primary software or by continuing to
operate under their current systems and providing data feeds to the statewide
database. To date, 68 local REALTOR® associations and multiple regional MLSs
representing more than 120,000 members across the state have recognized the
importance of a statewide MLS and have signed letters of intent to participate
in this critical endeavor.
“The leadership teams of the Fresno, Lake County, Madera County, and Merced
County REALTOR® associations are to be commended for recognizing that their
members deserve an innovative, reliable, and flexible statewide system that
will allow them to access the data they need in a timely and efficient way
through calREDD™,” said Mike Silvas, CALMLS chairman and co-owner of Morgan
Lane Real Estate, a luxury market brokerage based in Napa, Calif.
The Fresno Association of REALTORS® has been serving Fresno County and
surrounding areas for the past 104 years and currently has 2,400 REALTOR®
