CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.) releases Annual Historical Data Summary

LOS ANGELES (May 13) – The CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.) today released its 2009 “Annual Historical Data Summary.” The publication includes historical data generated by C.A.R.’s Research and Economics Dept. and other statistical information about the California housing market compiled from 1968-2008.

Highlights of C.A.R.’s historical data summary includes:

• Monthly existing, single-family median home prices in California (1979-2008)
• Annual California/U.S. existing, single-family home sales (1970-2008)
• Annual California/U.S. existing, single-family median home prices (1968-2008)
• Statewide condominium median sales prices (1981-2008)
• Quarterly First-time Buyer Housing Affordability Index (2003-2008)
• Unsold Inventory Index (1982-2008)
• Time On Market (1982-2008)
