A Reminder about Using C.A.R.’s Standard Forms and zipForm® 6
As part of the ongoing benefits C.A.R. makes available to members, C.A.R. offers its standard forms in zipForm® 6 as a free member benefit. zipForm® 6 is the exclusive forms-filling software for C.A.R.’s standard forms. We hope you find these products valuable to you in your business. We would like to take a moment and remind you of the ways in which you may use C.A.R.’s standard forms and zipForm® 6, along with certain restrictions on use.
As a C.A.R. member, you are provided with a zipForm® 6 account for your individual use only. Giving your password or credentials to someone else, allowing someone to use your account, or using someone else's account, password or credentials is strictly prohibited and in violation of the zipForm® 6 end user license agreement. This restriction helps us protect your privacy and reduce unauthorized access to and use of your account.
You may print, scan and send copies of completed C.A.R. forms, and you may upload and store completed forms generated from zipForm® 6 in locked, .pdf format. C.A.R.’s copyright policy and the zipForm® 6 end user license agreement do not allow you to print, scan, upload, store or display on the Internet blank C.A.R. forms; or to upload or store blank C.A.R. forms in other forms-filling software programs; or to convert C.A.R. forms to a forms-filling format (other than in zipForm® 6). Pre-printed text in C.A.R. forms may not be altered or removed electronically. These rules help to ensure that only C.A.R. members and other users who have legitimately paid to use these products may do so, and so that the integrity of the forms are not compromised and are protected under C.A.R.’s User Protection Agreement. Violation of C.A.R.’s copyright policy and the zipForm® 6 end user license agreement could result in liability under state and federal law and the termination of your zipForm ® 6 license.
C.A.R. spends considerable time and resources in creating our standard forms and providing zipForm® 6 to members, and we vigorously enforce our rights in these products through our enforcement program. Our enforcement activities include user validation, “cease and desist” letters with notification to the user’s broker and local association of REALTORS®, as applicable, and in certain instances, the commencement of litigation. These activities help reduce the unauthorized use of our products and maintain the value that you, our member, have paid for through your member dues.

DRE Record Retention Requirements Made Easy with zipVault™ Document Storage
