How to E-mail forms from WINForms Online®

When you use WINForms Online, there is now a faster way to e-mail C.A.R forms to your clients. There is no need to export forms in order to e-mail out of your personal account. You can e-mail forms directly from WINForms Online®. 

Step 1: Log into WINForms Online® account
In the Transaction/Template screen, open selected transaction to be e-mailed.

Step 2: Open the transaction to be e-mailed
Once selected transaction is opened, click on
Envelope
icon in the Toolbar

Step 3: Provide e-mail address of your recipient
Also provide
Subject Title and message under Additional Comments.

A great benefit when sending an e-mail directly from WINForms Online®
is the Carbon Copy field. Your e-mail address is automatically carbon copied (CC) when sending the e-mail. Since you do not have an automatic record of what you've sent, the CC option enables you to get  copy of what you've e-mailed out to your clients.

Step 4: PDF and ZFX attachment features. 

There are two E-mail format types:

Method 1: PDF (Portable Document Format). It means it is an Adobe Acrobat file format.  This format will give you the option to send individual pages. This is a READ-ONLY format. The recipient will not be able to edit this document.

Method 2: ZFX (WINForms® Format). This format will allow the recipient to open the transaction in the WINForms® application.  This is in a READ and WRITE format. It can be edited by the recipient.

If you prefer to lock this e-mail,  uncheck Convert to PDF field and assign a password to this e-mail. If the transaction is locked using a password, the user will need the password to unlock the transaction and edit it.

Once the user has received the e-mail with the locked transaction; the attachment will need to be saved to the user's computer. Next, the transaction will need to be imported into WINForms Online®.  Once the transaction is imported, the user can open it. Finally, the transaction can be unlocked.

Step 5: Select All and De-Select All option.
  You can choose which forms you would like to email.  Remove the checks next to the each form you do NOT want to e-mail by hitting De-Select All.  You can also choose to send individual pages by selecting the "plus" symbol to expand the forms. 

Step 6: Select E-mail button to send. When you are ready to send, simply click on E-mail button. Once this message is received, you'll know your e-mail has been successfully sent. Click OK to continue using your WINForms Online® account.

Changing Your Company Information or Email Address

It's easy to change your company information listed at the bottom of your WINForms® Desktop and WINForms Online®. For WINForms® Desktop, you'll first need to find your redemption code. To do this, go to "HELP" in the WINForms® toolbar, then "About". Your redemption code is on the bottom left. Close your Desktop software and visit www.winforms.com. Next, click the "Change Company Info/Email" link on the top right of the homepage. This will provide you with an update to install.

For WINForms Online®, simply click the Administration link at the top. Then click on Location Manager. You will see your old company listed at the bottom of the page. On the "Select Action" menu to the right, highlight Edit. Make the necessary changes and hit Save. Any new transactions you create will reflect your new company information.

 

WINForms® Online Training for D.R.E Credit

Your can now receive 3 hours of Consumer Service credit towards your Department of Real Estate continuing education requirement by taking a live C.A.R.-sponsored WINForms Online® class. C.A.R. staff teach the class and provide certificates, along with a WINForms® All-In-One Manual. Contact your Local Association to request that this class be held in your area. Minimum attendance of 30 students is required. For more information, contact Jenny Cox at 213-739-8213 or email jennyc@car.org. This course is available in live-lecture format only.

 

WINForms® Certified Trainer Programs

The WINForms® department is offering a one-day course for WINForms® Certified Training that includes instruction for both the Desktop version and the Online version.

This program is designed for anyone who wants to be an instructor of WINForms®, C.A.R.'s most popular member benefit. Couse features will give you working knowledge of the software and insight to the training skills that are vital to teaching others. Along with account access, your name will be advertised at
www.winforms.com/certificate as a WINForms® Certified Trainer.
