The Finance Helpline helps members who encounter difficulties with finalizing short sales, REOs, deeds-in-lieu, funding, or face any number of hurdles in closing a deal for their clients. C.A.R’s Finance Helpline The helpline provides one-on-one assistance to help resolve financing issues within a transaction.
In addition to the $25,000, C.A.R. also was awarded a $5,000 grant from NAR’s Housing Opportunity Program to support activities that create and expand affordable housing opportunities. The grant will be used to host a Short Sale Escalation event, which will bring together lenders and servicers to help REALTORS® escalate short sales on the spot. This event will bring and expand the Finance Helpline to areas where REALTORS® and homeowners most need help.
