C.A.R. is constantly striving to improve our members’ experience and the
level of service we provide. We understand that in today’s high-tech,
fast-paced business environment Web sites are a key part of conducting
business. To enhance our members’ online experiences, C.A.R. has
implemented changes to its Web site, car.org. Through simplified usability
and a more harmonized look, C.A.R. is bringing critical content to the
forefront, providing you with the most-important information, where and
when you need it.
Over the last few weeks, C.A.R. rolled out incremental changes to car.org
including drop-down menu navigation, font size and color changes, and a new
color palette for the site. Additional highlights include:
Site-wide
Easy access to the Business Products mall (store.car.org) via a new
shopping cart icon on every page.
New "My Profile" button with custom profile specific links.
New search button with preset search text to help clarify its
function.
New "Home" button to helps you easily navigate back to the home page.
Home page
Video Module: This enhanced module enables visitors to preview videos prior
to playing by hovering over any of the thumbnails, while a side-scrolling
option allows visitors to browse through a selection of video clips without
leaving the home page.
Stay Connected: This new addition to home page features links to C.A.R.’s
social networks, upcoming Webinars, current outreaches, and
consumer-specific resources.
What's New Now supports graphics within the description area for greater
visual appeal.
One Cool Thing: This new module highlights a cool service, product, or
application every day.
Quick Links: Now has a cleaner, simpler look, with clear access for our
members to zipForm®. (Note that the existing visitor profile-specific links
now are available on top of the page under the new "My Profile".)
