Most REALTORS® understand the client and business benefits that come from providing homes that are more comfortable, affordable, and dependable, yet very few REALTORS® are aware of the numerous programs that can help them get offers accepted, increase successful closing ratios, and reduce escrow times.
In this webinar, attendees will learn about financing and rebate mechanisms that can allow home-buyers and existing homeowners to make improvements to their property and qualify for rebates.
Programs covered will include:
-
HomeStyle Renovation & HomePath Renovation
-
PowerSaver
-
Title1
-
Energy Efficient Mortgage
-
203k Full & Streamline
-
Energy Upgrade California
-
CAR's Housing Affordability Fund - REAP Program
These programs can increase the pool of potential buyers and an understanding of these programs can help expand opportunities for REALTORS® and Loan Officers. Providing access to these programs can assist clients in financing retrofits to distressed properties, such as foreclosures and short sales. Additionally, REALTORS® and Loan Officers can add value for past clients by introducing them to programs that can help them make property improvements and access significant rebates.
The training will include:
-
Options and opportunities for energy upgrades and property improvements
-
Applicable finance and rebate programs and how to make them work together for maximum benefit
-
How contractors, REALTORS®, loan officers and escrow officers can work together to incorporate these programs into home purchases or refinances to increase their business
-
Tools and techniques to make financing easy to understand and obtain
-

Kevin Nunn has spent his 18-year residential lending career promoting the programs that allow home-buyers and homeowners improve the energy efficiency, comfort and safety of their homes. He has always believed that these programs offer tremendous opportunities not only to the consumers but also to the Real Estate Agents and Loan Officers and Contractors involved. In addition to the very high number of these specialty products he has personally arranged, he has devoted his efforts to educating the Real Estate Community on these opportunities.
