As a long standing C.A.R. Director, Bette Dobkin served with passion, dedication, and was a staunch supporter of C.A.R.’s Housing Affordability Fund. After losing her battle to cancer, the Trustees of the Housing Affordability Fund felt it only fitting to recognize Bette’s contributions and passion for affordable homeownership with the establishment of the annual C.A.R.H.A.F. Bette Dobkin Award.

Local Associations are encouraged to nominate a single individual that reflects the same spirit and commitment that Bette exuded.
