Regarding:  Important Events for Californians

As we prepare for the NAR meetings in Las Vegas, I want to provide you with an overview of key activities for Californians attending the conference, committee meetings and Board of Directors meetings.

1. California NAR Directors Briefing. Monday, November 12, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m in Marco Polo Room, 803-804, Level 1 of the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino (Please note this brieing will be held earlier than usual). Once again all Californians serving as NAR directors and committee members will meet for an issues briefing session to preview the issues of concern to California.  All NAR directors and committee members must attend. 2. MLS/ProStandards Committee Briefing. Tuesday, November 13,2007 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. in San Polo Room 3503, Level 3 of the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. All Californians serving on the MLS and ProStandards Committee should attend. For more information, contact June Barlow at juneb@car.org or (213) 739-8277.

3. Region 13 Caucus. Thursday November 15, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., San Polo 3402, Level 3 of the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. All Californians serving as NAR directors are expected to attend.

4.  California Club Reception. The California Club Reception for Californians attending the NAR meetings will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2007 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. in Palazzo B, Level 5 of the Venetian ResortHotel Casino. All Californians attending the NAR meetings are invited.

5. California Pre-Delegate Body Meeting. Friday, November 16, 2007 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Titian 2203-2204/2303-2304, Level 2 of the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. All Californians serving as delegates must attend the Pre- Delegate Body Meeting.

6. Delegate Body Meeting. Friday, November 16, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Venetian Ballroom, Level 2 of the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino . All Californians serving as delegates must attend the Delegate Body Meeting.

Delegates are required to register prior to the Delegate Body meeting in order to attend. Hard copy instructions and certification form for registration were sent to each local association by NAR and are also available online at: www.realtor.org.

Delegates are encouraged to get certified online before arriving at the REALTORS® Conference & Expo.
