As you know, from time to time we ask you to bring a report from your region to the Committee. For our Thursday, October 8, 2009, meeting, we are requesting, from each Regional Representative, a report specifiying any special problems in your region that you think can be addressed at the state level. In addition, we are aware that real estate fraud, nationwide, is on the rise. Please report whether associations in your region have been contacted by the DRE or law enforcement agencies regarding the investigation of real estate fraud involving REALTORS.
It would be very helpful, if, in additiion to your verbal report, you could prepare a short written report to hand over to your 2009 leadership at the end of the meeting.
The questions for you are:
1. Are there any special problems in your region that you
think can be addressed at the state level?
2. Have any associations in your region been contacted by
the DRE or law enforcement agencies regarding the investigation of real
estate fraud involving REALTORS?
