APPROVAL OF MINUTES
It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to approve the minutes of the January 25, 2008 meeting subject to correcting the information under Attendance and Trustees Absent. The minutes reflect that Carol Olney was absent and Tracy Shumard in attendance at the meeting on January 25, 2008. However, Carol Olney was in attendance and Tracy Shumard was absent.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
The Trustees reviewed and accepted financial statements for the C.A.R. Scholarship Foundation showing the following:
Total Fund Balance as of April 30, 2008 - $1,105,535
Interest Available for Scholarship Awards - $19,520
The Directors reviewed and accepted financial statements for the C.A.R. Education Foundation.
Total Fund Balance as of December 31, 2007 - $56,391.51

It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to host a C.A.R. Education Foundation Fundraising Booth in October at the C.A.R. Expo in Long Beach. Kurt Kinsey, Director, will Chair the Education Foundation Booth.
C.A.R. EDUCATION FOUNDATION
It was Moved,
Seconded and CARRIED to approve the proposed revisions to the C.A.R. Education
Foundation Policies and Procedures in the draft dated December 5,
2007.
It was Moved,
Seconded, and CARRIED to send a letter to all the Local Associations/Boards
requesting a contribution of $250 for the C.A.R. Education Foundation.
