We are happy to announce that C.A.R. is, again, presenting the very popular Negotiation and Mediation Training for REALTORS® program. This training program is being taught by members of the distinguished faculty of the nationally-acclaimed Pepperdine University School of Law, Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. All REALTORS® are welcome. If you have never conducted a mediation - you will learn how. If you are an experienced mediator - you will reaffirm some things you already know and gain valuable insights which will improve your mediation skills. Mediation Training I will focus on negotiation skills and provide an introduction to the mediation process. Mediation Training II will focus on mediation skills and advanced mediation techniques with an emphasis on real estate disputes. Only those satisfactorily completing Mediation Training I will be permitted to enroll in Mediation Training II. We recommend that you take both Mediator Training I and II if you plan to mediate disputes for your Local Association. Mediator Training I and II provides 32 hours of basic negotiation and mediation skills training.
This highly interactive, dynamic and entertaining negotiation and mediation skills training program has been consistently rated by the REALTORS® who have attended it as outstanding and invaluable to their professions regardless of whether they ever plan on mediating for their Local Associations. Mediation Training I is perfect for those who wish to take their negotiation skills to the next level and are unable to attend both sessions.

Mediator Training I - March 25 & 26, C.A.R. headquarters, Los Angeles
Mediator Training II**- April 29 & 30, Sacramento Association of REALTORS® headquarters, Sacramento
Mediator Training II**- May 19 & 20, C.A.R. headquarters, Los Angeles
**(Attendance at Mediator Training I is a prerequisite for Mediator Training II)
Schedule : Registration from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Morning sessions begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. Lunch is Noon to 1:00 p.m. The afternoon sessions begin at 1:00 p.m. and the day will end at 4:30 p.m.
Fees and Costs : The fee for each 2-day seminar is $650 per person. Course materials, continental breakfast and lunch provided both days. Transportation and hotel costs are the responsibility of the attendee.
Hotel Information : C.A.R. is attempting to secure a block of rooms, at a reduced rate, near each seminar site. Room rates and information will be provided to each registrant closer to the date of the seminar.
