RE:
Rural Forum Meeting Invitation
You are cordially invited
to attend the Rural Forum meeting on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, from 2:30
pm to 4:30 pm at the Sacramento Convention Center - Room 309/310
(please check program to confirm room location).
We missed our
guest speaker Suneil Thomas, the Director of Special Projects for the
California chapter of The Nature Conservancy, in January due to flight
difficulties but we have luckily been able to re-confirmed him as our
speaker for June!
Suneil Thomas works on a
variety of high profile transactional and policy matters for the state
chapter's real estate and government relations departments including
regional habitat conservation plans and large land acquisitions and
dispositions. Suneil has a Bachelors of Art in environmental policy from
The Colorado College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of
California - Hastings College of the Law.
Prior to
working for The Nature Conservancy, Suneil worked in private practice as a
real estate and land use attorney for the San Francisco law firms of
Pillsbury Winthrop LLP and Ellman, Burke, Hoffman, and Johnson PC. Suneil
is also a licensed real estate broker in the state of California.
Rural Forum invites all of
you to join us for this insightful discussion on the variety of programs
and alternatives you use to place lands into conservation and what benefits
each approach can yield. We hope to see you there!
