2008 RECAP

The Political Affairs Committee would like to thank all of you for your hard work and dedication to C.A.R.'s REALTOR® Action Fund - and our fundraising program! The 2008 goals was to raise $3.5 million and have 33 1/3% RAF participation.  Considering the challenges REALTORS® in 2008, we raised $3,230,445. GREAT JOB! The C.A.R. statewide participation rate was 22%.  This is based on a total membership of 176,466 with 39,690 RAF participants.  However, we had several local Associations reached or surpassed the 33.3% RAF participation goal. Congratulations to those Associations!  The following report is available to download and view:

2009 RAF Goals
We want to involve the local Associations in setting goals for 2009.  We have a statewide goal, however, we need the assistance of the local associations to reach it.  Therefore, we decided to change it and have each association provide the following goals:

1.  The 2009 RAF participation rate goal (percentage of members who invest)
2.  The 2009 RAF contribution goal (how much do you want to raise)
3.  Fundraising Captain.
