III. Summary of Property Management Software Survey
Vice Chair Tica O'Neil prepared for the Committee a comprehensive form to help us survey our PMC Members regarding property management software being utilized by the industry, the strengths and weaknesses of the products currently in use, and what recommendations Committee Members have for improvements that we, as a Committee can possibly recommend to vendors. The form was emailed to all Committee Members on December 3rd, 2008.

The response to this request was a bit "underwhelming", as only three Members returned the survey. It would appear that PMC Members do not believe this is a priority issue and is rather one left up to each individual to evaluate pursuant to his or her singular needs. Thanks go to our responding Members: Ted Loring (utilizes "Yari Professional"), Curt Cournale (utilizes "Remanage"), and John E. Clifford (does not utilize a software program in the conduct of his property management business).

Does the Committee wish to further pursue of this issue, either through discussion during the PMC meeting or another survey?

D. Processing/handling of security deposits and rent when the rental property is in foreclosure
E. When rents and security deposits are paid electronically, what is the official date of deposit/payment?
