The mission of the committee is to review and recommend positions on proposed legislation and regulatory actions affecting the broad area of real estate financing, including federal housing credit programs, state and local housing finance agencies and secondary mortgage markets. It develops programs and policy recommendations on regulation and legislation designed to preserve and enhance California’s real estate financing needs. It reports to the Legislative Committee and/or the Federal Issues Committee as appropriate, the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors. (January 2006)
