TO: 2014 Nominating Committee

FROM: Beth L. Peerce, Chair & Steve Goddard, Vice Chair

Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.

Our first meeting of the year is Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Seaport Ballroom F/G-Second Level of the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel. We would like to make your time productive at our 2014 Winter Business Meeting in San Diego and ask that you review & sign the 2014 Nominating Confidentiality Agreement in advance.  Please read the entire agreement, sign and fax to C.A.R. Staff at 213-739-7286 or email: governance@car.org no later than Friday, January 17, 2014.  For your reference click here to download the 2014 Nominating Confidentiality Agreement.

As a Nominating Committee Member the following are some of your most important duties:

1. Privileged Information - In all fairness to our members and nominees, Committee members must consider discussions within the Committee confidential and not to be taken outside the committee room -- use discretion.

2. Confidentiality Agreement - The Association mandates the use of a Confidentiality Agreement for all members of the Nominating Committee, including the Alternates and all participants in the nominating process.

Meeting Materials will be mailed to you in advance the week of January 13, 2014 .  If you do not receive a packet please come to Staff Headquarters to pick up your meeting materials. Please review the draft agenda before arriving in San Diego at: Winter 2014 - Agenda.  For your reference click here to view the C.A.R. Campaign Guidelines.

Thank you for your continued support to the Association, I look forward to working with you all in 2014.  If you have any questions or suggestions please contact me at Beth L. Peerce at (310) 880-4424, email: words4beth@aol.com or Steve Goddard at (310) 367-7951, email: steve@stevegoddard.com
