Welcome to an exciting year for EXPO 2013! The California REALTOR® EXPO will be held at the Long Beach Convention Center, October 8-10. The EXPO is being redesigned with a totally new format and feel. Kicking off the redesign is the exciting theme, “Champions of Home.”
There’s a lot to do this year and I am glad you’re here to help make it happen. You have three assignments to prepare for the upcoming meeting:
1. Read the attached 2013 EXPO Budget Objectives. Come prepared to discuss objectives.
2. Bring five (5) practical ideas to promote attendance to the EXPO. You will each be given time to present your ideas to the committee. Please be sure to write your ideas down.
3. Think of three (3) dynamic, informative, and exciting potential EXPO Speakers
EXPO Sponsors: We are inviting a few of our top-tiered EXPO Sponsors to set up a table in the registration area. Please be sure to stop by and say “Thank You”. They will be available on Wednesday and Thursday.
Mission Statement: “The EXPO Committee serves in an advisory role to assist in meeting the objectives of the California REALTOR® EXPO Business Plan. Guidance and direction are provided in speaker selection, program development, and exhibitor relations. The committee is a work and information dissemination committee. It reports to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors.”
